Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Presidential Test of Fitness collects and your choices. The site has no accounts and no backend database for calculator results. Most calculator inputs are processed entirely in your browser; shareable result links may place selected inputs in the page URL when you choose to use them.

What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account or submit personal information. The data we collect comes from standard web requests and third-party analytics scripts:

  • Analytics and measurement: Google Analytics 4, Ahrefs Web Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and StatCounter may collect pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser information, referrer, interactions, and similar usage signals, typically using cookies or similar identifiers.
  • Session replay/heatmaps: Microsoft Clarity may record interaction data such as clicks, scrolls, page navigation, and device/browser details so we can understand usability issues.
  • Server/CDN logs: standard request data such as IP address, URL requested, user agent, timestamp, and referrer.
  • Shareable result URLs: the VO₂max calculator can create a link with selected inputs in the query string so the result can be reopened. If you open or share that link, those URL parameters are part of the page request and may be visible in browser history, logs, referrers, and analytics tools.

Other calculator inputs (age, sex, scores) are processed locally in your browser. We do not run a server-side account system or calculator-results database.

Cookies and analytics choices

The analytics providers above may set cookies or use similar browser identifiers. We do not currently operate an in-page cookie settings panel or consent-management platform. You can limit cookies and tracking through your browser settings, private browsing, content blockers, or the opt-out tools offered by the analytics providers.

California (CCPA/CPRA) and Nevada rights — Do Not Sell or Share

We do not currently run personalized advertising or sell personal information for money. Some analytics activity may involve cookies, identifiers, or usage data handled by third-party analytics providers.

To make an opt-out, access, deletion, or "Do Not Sell or Share" request, email legal@presidentialtest.fitness with the subject "Privacy Request" or "Do Not Sell or Share." Because the site is static and has no account system, we may need enough information to verify and locate any relevant records.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

This is a general-audience site intended for parents, teachers, coaches, and adults checking their own results. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it where we can.

International visitors (GDPR/UK GDPR)

The site is U.S.-focused. If privacy laws outside the United States apply to your visit, you can contact us at the address below to exercise rights available to you. You can also use browser controls or content blockers to limit third-party analytics cookies and similar identifiers.
